Product description
The TANITA BC-401 is a compact and highly accurate body composition scale, perfect for use with the whole family. For example, the scale remembers the data of up to 5 people and for children (between the ages of 5 and 17) it only measures what is really relevant, namely the weight, BMI and fat percentage. This way everyone gets insight into their own body composition and works together towards their own health goal.
The BC-401 also measures your metabolic age. A unique measurement that only the body composition scales of TANITA perform. This measurement calculates your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and then compares it to the average of your age group. Is your metabolic age lower than your actual age? Then you are on the right track. If it's higher, then there's work to be done.
Using the MyTANITA App, all the results of a measurement are sent directly to your smartphone or tablet. The insights gathered over time will motivate you to reach those long-term goals!

Great for measuring fitness and weightI am really enjoying using this device. It is easy to use however pairing can take awhile as I had to try a few times before it eventually paired up.
Once you have this done, you just stand on the device and it automatically turns on and measures you. It shows your current weight, BMI, muscle mass, body fat, bone mass pulse more. I like that in the app it gives you a chart showing the fluctuations day to day so you can keep an eye on how your body is changing.
I also like that based on your measurements it gives a rough guide of what your body age is giving you an idea of your overall fitness levels. A great product that is great if you want to track your health and any fitness journey youre on. I would recommendPosted on

BrilliantAs someone who has struggled to track progress being able to press weigh now on my phone and within seconds have a full rangers of my body fat percentage, muscle mass and other areas has been hugely insightful and helpful for me.the scales are small and sleek and look as good as they work.

EstrechaTengo un 38 y se me salen los talones. Cualquier persona que tenga más de un 38 se le saldrán los talones y dedos del pie. Es incómodo, jamás vi una báscula estrecha, que sentido tiene??? Da la sensación que estés subido en una rama.

Très bienMise en service très rapide une fois l' application téléchargée. Deux mesures prises à une semaine d' intervalle qui sont cohérentes aussi bien pour moi que pour mon épouse.
Seul bémol quand il faut rentrer la date de naissance : je n' ai pas trouvé d' autre moyen que de passer par le calendrier proposé ce qui est très fastidieux quand il faut remonter 45 ans.
J' ai lu des commentaires sur d' autres sites de personnes qui ne savaient pas comment poser les pieds. C'est très bien expliqué sur la notice avec un schéma qu'il suffit de bien respecter, notamment la position des talons.Posted on

Really love all the dataThese are the first scales that give me a reading of key aspects of metabolic health, such as visceral fat, BMI, and metabolic age so I can get an overall appreciation of my health. I love the APP as well - a great way to keep track of the data. I liked them so much I bought them as Christmas presents !!!

Excellent, accurate, and extremely good price.I’m a bit of a Health fanatic and have beef or most of my adult life. This scale serves my needs and I think is a good indicator of your overall Health metrics with an understanding that it’s just a measurement and not a diagnosis.

Decent body analysis scaleIt isn't that good as in hospital, but at least it shows decent fat % accuracy based on Activity level you choose. Worth spent money.
